Identification and characterization of a core set of ROS wave‐associated transcripts involved in the systemic acquired acclimation response of Arabidopsis to excess light
Article reveal that the systemic transcriptomic response of plants to excess light stress is extensive in the context of systemic acquired acclimation and involves an early (2 min) and transient stage of transcript expression that includes thousands of genes.

Genome-Resolved Proteomic Stable Isotope Probing of Soil Microbial Communities Using 13CO2 and 13C-Methanol
Article describes experiment where proteomic sable isotope probing (SIP) was combined with targeted metagenomic binning to reconstruct metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) of the microorganisms producing labeled proteins. Carbon flows were tracked from 13CO2 to the rhizosphere communities of Zea mays, Triticum aestivum, and Arabidopsis thaliana.

OptiFit: Computer-Vision-Based Smartphone Application to Measure the Foot from Images and 3D Scans

Fatty acid amide hydrolase and 9-lipoxygenase modulate cotton seedling growth by ethanolamide oxylipin levels
Article asserts that polyunsaturated N-acylethanolamines (NAEs) can be hydrolyzed by fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) or oxidized by lipoxygenase (LOX). Altogether, the authors conclude that the growth of cotton seedlings involves fine-tuning of 9-NAE-HOD levels via FAAH-mediated hydrolysis and LOX-mediated production, expanding the mechanistic understanding of plant growth modulation by NAE oxylipins to a perennial crop species.

Surface Nanostructures Enhanced Biocompatibility and Osteoinductivity of laser-Additively Manufactured CoCrMo Alloys
Article describes how cobalt–chromium–molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloys are widely used in orthopedic implants due to their excellent corrosion and wear resistance and superior mechanical properties. In this study, the authors prepared CoCrMo alloys with surface nanostructures of various aspect ratios (AR) using laser-directed energy deposition (L-DED) and biocorrosion.
