Corrosion Behavior of Selectively Laser Melted CoCrFeMnNi High Entropy Alloy
The article focuses on a study that widens the toolbox to manufacture HEAs with exceptional corrosion resistance by additive manufacturing. CoCrFeMnNi high entropy alloys (HEAs) were additively manufactured (AM) by laser powder bed fusion and their corrosion resistance in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution was studied by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests. A systematic study of AM CoCrFeMnNi HEAsβ porosity under a wide range of laser processing parameters was conducted and a processing map was constructed to identify the optimal laser processing window for CoCrFeMnNi HEAs.

Parental stressor exposure simultaneously conveys both adaptive and maladaptive larval phenotypes through epigenetic inheritance in the zebrafish (Danio rerio)
This article is a study using crude oil as an example of an environmental stressor in adult zebrafish. The offspring obtained were then assessed for transgenerational epigenetic transfer of oil-induced phenotypes. The authors conclude that epigenetic transgenerational inheritance can lead to an immediate and simultaneous inheritance of both beneficial and maladaptive traits in a large proportion of the F1 larvae. The adaptive responses may help fish populations survive when facing transient environmental stressors.

Atomic layer deposition of h-BN(0001) multilayers on Ni(111) and chemical vapor deposition of graphene on h-BN(0001)/Ni(111)
Article studying atomic layer deposition. In situ direct, epitaxial growth of multilayers of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) and graphene without physical transfer is of significant interest for the scalable production of graphene/h-BN heterostructures for device applications. Deposition on magnetic substrates is of particular interest for spin tunneling applications. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and low energy electron diffraction demonstrate epitaxial atomic-layer deposition (ALD) of multilayer h-BN(0001) on Ni(111) and subsequent deposition of azimuthally-aligned multilayer graphene on h-BN(0001)/Ni(111) by chemical vapor deposition. Boron nitride ALD was accomplished with alternating cycles of BClβ/NHβ at a 600 K substrate temperature, and subsequent annealing in ultrahigh vacuum. Subsequent deposition of graphene was achieved by chemical vapor deposition using ethylene (CHβCHβ) at 1000 K.

Preparation and Characterization of 3D Printed PLA-Based Conductive Composites Using Carbonaceous Fillers by Masterbatch Melting Method
This article highlights a study aimed at improving the conductivity of polylactic acid (PLA)-based composites by incorporating carbonaceous fillers. The composites with the addition of graphene nanoplatelets (rGO) or multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were fabricated by the masterbatch melting method in order to improve the dispersion of the two kinds of nano-fillers. The results showed that, with the addition of 9 wt % rGO, the volume electrical resistivity of the composite reached the minimum electrical resistance of 10³ Ω·m, at which point the conductive network in the composites was completely formed.
