Replicate DNA metabarcoding can discriminate seasonal and spatial abundance shifts in river macroinvertebrate assemblages
Article asserts that the delivery of consistent and accurate fine-resolution data on biodiversity using metabarcoding promises to improve environmental assessment and research. The authors propose a novel hierarchical approach to recovering abundance information from metabarcoding, and demonstrate this technique using benthic macroinvertebrates.

SUCCESS of UNT Pre-service Teachers and Latino Families
Presentation highlighting Project SUCCESS in Language and Literacy Instruction which is a Title III National Professional Development Program at the University of North Texas funded by the U. S. Department of Education. The project is directed by the Bilingual Teacher Education Program of the University of North Texas. UNT works in partnership with Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Region 10 ESC, the Latino Family Literacy Project, and the Intercultural Development Research Association for this project. The goals of the project are to prepare bilingual and ESL pre-service teachers, to provide professional development for in service teachers to improve their instruction for English Learners (ELs) and to engage teachers with families and communities. Assembling Artificial Photosynthetic Models in Water Using β-Cyclodextrin-Conjugated Phthalocyanines as Building Blocks
Article describes how two water-soluble zinc(II) phthalocyanines substituted with two or four permethylated β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) moieties at the α positions have been utilized as building blocks for the construction of artificial photosynthetic models in water. The hydrophilic and bulky β-CD moieties not only can increase the water solubility of the phthalocyanine core and prevent its stacking in water but can also bind with a tetrasulfonated zinc(II) porphyrin (ZnTPPS) and/or sodium 2-anthraquinonesulfonate (AQ) in water through host–guest interactions.

Code-switching 101: Black women counselor educators’ personal and professional identity development
Article describes how the perceptions of personal and professional identity development from four Black women counselor educators were examined through a collaborative autoethnography methodology. Preferential Solvation Study of Rosuvastatin in the {PEG400 (1) + Water (2)} Cosolvent Mixture and GastroPlus Software-Based In Vivo Predictions
Article claims that rosuvastatin (RST) is a poorly water-soluble drug responsible for limited in vivo dissolution and subsequently low oral systemic absorption (poor bioavailability). The results of inverse Kirkwood–Buff integrals showed the PS of RST by PEG400 as observed in all studied ratios of the binary mixture.

Deformation behavior and strengthening effects of an eutectic AlCoCrFeNi2.1 high entropy alloy probed by in-situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction and post-mortem EBSD

A content analysis of research on technology use for teaching mathematics to students with disabilities: word networks and topic modeling
Authors of article conduct a content analysis of research on technology use for teaching mathematics to students with disabilities. They applied word networks and structural topic modeling of 488 studies published from 1980 to 2021. Results showed that the words “computer” and “computer-assisted instruction” had the highest degree of centrality in the 1980s and 1990s, and “learning disability” was another central word in the 2000s and 2010s.

Laser powder bed fusion processing of a precipitation strengthenable FCC based high entropy alloy
Article describes how, while additive manufacturing (AM) of single-phase solid solution based high entropy alloys (HEAs) has attracted a lot of recent attention, such processing of precipitation strengthenable multi-phase HEAs has not been actively investigated. This becomes important since AM processing results in each layer experiencing rapid solidification followed by multiple heating-cooling cycles, mimicking in situ heat treatments, potentially influencing the phase evolution.

Urinary Glycosaminoglycans Are Associated with Recurrent UTI and Urobiome Ecology in Postmenopausal Women

Fiberboard Made from Scrap Denim: Characterization of its Properties by Effective Bulk Modulus Elastography
Article describes how fiberboards from scrap denim were fabricated using two different resins, melamine urea formaldehyde (MUF) and polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (pMDI). Resin content and MUF-pMDI weight ratio were studied. A Highly Contiguous and Annotated Genome Assembly of the Lesser Prairie-Chicken (Tympanuchus pallidicinctus)
Article asserts that the Lesser Prairie-Chicken (Tympanuchus pallidicinctus; LEPC) is an iconic North American prairie grouse, renowned for ornate and spectacular breeding season displays, a species that has been declining in population across much of its historical range, with corresponding precipitous declines in contemporary population abundance, largely due to climatic and anthropogenic factors. The authors describe an annotated reference genome that was generated from a LEPC sample collected from the southern DPS.

Exploration of Accuracy, Completeness and Consistency in Metadata for Physical Objects in Museum Collections
Conference paper for an exploratory study that examined student-created metadata for physical non-text resources. The authors applied in-depth qualitative and quantitative content analysis to the Dublin Core (DCTERMS) metadata created by the graduate students in two sections of an introductory digital library metadata course. Finding of comparative analysis for the asynchronous course section and the section with synchronous class meetings are also presented. FERONIA and wall-associated kinases coordinate defense induced by lignin modification in plant cell walls
Article discusses authors' findings that through genetic screening for suppressors of defense gene induction in the low lignin ccr1-3 mutant of Arabidopsis thaliana, we found that loss of function of the receptor-like kinase FERONIA, although not restoring growth, affected cell wall remodeling and blocked release of elicitor-active pectic polysaccharides as a result of the ccr1-3 mutation. They determine that engineering plant cell walls will require development of ways to bypass endogenous pectin signaling pathways.
