N-acylethanolamide metabolizing enzymes are upregulated in human neural progenitor-derived neurons exposed to sub-lethal oxidative stress
Article is a study determining whether ReN cells, a superior cell model system for studying neurodevelopment, differentiation, and neuroprotection, express proteins involved in canonical eCB NAE signaling and whether oxidative stress can induce their expression. This study is a first step toward determining how oxidative stress affects CB1, CB2, FAAH, NAAA, and NAPE-PLD expression and their potential defense against oxidative stress.

Case report: Early-onset osteoporosis in a patient carrying a novel heterozygous variant of the WNT1 gene
Article presents a case study of a 35 year-old Caucasian woman who experienced multiple vertebral fractures two months after her second pregnancy. The results suggest a potential role of heterozygous WNT1 variants in the pathogenesis of early-onset osteoporosis. The authors suggest that teriparatide is one of the most appropriate available therapies for such cases.

AI Agency Risks and Their Mitigation Through Business Process Management: A Conceptual Framework
This article builds on agency theory and identify factors that increase the risk of an agency problem between a principal (a human or an organization) and an AI agent and propose a framework for AI agency problem analysis. The framework is illustrated through AI use cases and industry examples. Implications for AI governance research and practice are discussed. It was presented at the 52nd Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences.

Continued Usage and Location Disclosure of Location-Based Applications: A Necessity for Location Intelligence
This article's research builds a continuance usage and location disclosure model from the expectation-confirmation perspective. The effect of benefit expectations on usefulness and satisfaction is hypothesized. In addition, the positive effect of usefulness on satisfaction and continuance intention is postulated. Findings contribute to the current literature in business intelligence by focusing on location disclosure behavior in the context of LBAs and the necessity of this type of information for location intelligence. This article was presented at the 52nd Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences.

Influence of coherent population trapping on Raman scattering
Article considering the Raman scattering in molecular media. Applying two laser fields in a two-photon resonance with vibrational transition, the authors study the role of rotational levels for excitation of vibrational coherence. It is shown that the molecular vibrational coherence strongly depends on the effect of coherent population trapping for rotational levels. The obtained results are important for applications of Raman spectroscopy to molecular detection in engineering, chemical, and biological applications.

Activation of an S6/H4 Kinase (PAK 65) from Human Placenta by Intramolecular and Intermolecular Autophosphorylation
Article proposing a model in which phosphorylation of sites 1 and 2 occurs sequentially. The model proposes that trypsin treatment of the inactive holoenzyme removes an inhibitory rac-binding domain which blocks MgATP access to the catalytic site. The pseudosubstrate domain at site 1 is autophosphorylated and subsequent bimolecular autophosphorylation at site 2 fully opens the catalytic site.
