Blue Tide
This queen sized bedspread, screen printed on cotton velvet, was created while Spear studied at Cranbrook Art Academy in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The bedspread gradates from purples to blues with long wave shapes in a pale yellow gold color.

Brooch and Earrings
The earrings are made of silver circles pierced with off-centered circle cut-outs which are in turn pierced with curlicue ribbon pieces of metal. The brooch is a triangular shape with an opening of a similar triangular shape which is also in turn pierced with a curlicue ribbon of metal. Also on one corner of the brooch is a second curled metal piece.

Cain and Abel
This large colorful painting depicts the brothers, Cain and Abel, from the Book of Genesis in the Bible. The story of these brothers is also found in the Quran. The painting consists of many bright colors in flat fields with black lines and outlines. The shepherd brother is in the background herding sheep and in the foreground is the second brother holding a large club and peering over his left shoulder.
