Interview with Gilberto S. Trevino, a U. S. Marine during World War II. He attended Texas A&M before serving in the Marine Corps. He was in the 28th Replacement Battalion when he was assigned to the 3d Marine Division and deployed to Iwo Jima. He discusses his first impressions of landing on the island. He describes the constructed Japanese defenses on the island and the use of Japanese Nisei interpreters to convince defenders to surrender. He returned to Texas A&M where he was in the Corps of Cadets (ROTC) and accepted his commission in the Army in time to serve in Korea. He eventually earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M and a doctorate degree in pathology from Michigan State University. He retired from service in 1976 with the rank of colonel.

Interview with Alan Taniguchi, former Dean of Architecture at UT-Austin and a Japanese-American internee during WWII, from Brentwood, California. Taniguchi discusses his family and childhood, experiences of racism, the attack on Pearl Harbor and its effects, having his home raided by the FBI, his father's detention and that of Japanese community leaders, preparing for internment, moving to the Gila Relocation Camp in Arizona, life there, leaving the camp for resettlement in Detroit, and life afterwards.

Interview with Dr. John Vogt, a physician involved in the Kaiser-Prudential joint venture, from Birmingham, Michigan. Vogt discusses his initial work with Kaiser Permanente, the origins of the Kai-Pru venture and why it was established in the Texas market, the benefits and downside for each company, the Dallas healthcare market, the Dallas medical community, healthcare plan models, cost control, and the end of Kai-Pru.

Interview with Frank Tremaine, a journalist from Detroit, Michigan, regarding his memories of working as a correspondent for the United Press of the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. Tremaine discusses Pearl Harbor, the political environment of the WWII era, major military figures, and a description of the Japanese surrender and ceremonies aboard the USS Missouri.

Interview with Gerald E. Wentworth, a United States Navy veteran from the Midwest, regarding his experiences and memories of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor of December 7, 1941 while aboard the battleship USS Tennessee.

Interview with Marjorie Rae Lutkins Babcock, Women's Army Corps Enlisted, Keypunch Operator, and Korean War-ere Veteran, for the Women Veterans Oral History Project. The interview includes Babcock's personal experiences of childhood in Michigan, basic training at Fort Lee, Virginia, duty assignments at Governor's Island, New York and Hanau, Germany, her temporary duty assignment at the Pentagon, her placement in the Veterans of Foreign War's Women's Auxiliary despite veteran status, and her brother's experience in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Additionally, the interview includes her reason for enlisting, her family's reaction to her enlistment, impressions of post-war Germany, advice for future women service members, her views on service and women in combat, and her daughter's views of the military and the military service of her mom and other family members. The interview includes an appendix with photographs and a list detailing Babcock's military career.
