Postcard from G. L. Schench to Mrs. L. H. Schench, discussing a six mile drive the sender took, and the natural beauty he or she saw. The front of the postcard features a photograph (colored in with ink) of Fern Bank waterfall in Boerne Texas. The waterfall is a small stream of water spilling over a rocky ledge covered in greenery. The water fall cascades down a short distance, and then over a rock and into a pool of water. There are more rocks and greenery on either side of the waterfall.

[Postcard of Hotel McAlpin in New York]

Postcard of a large brown and white brick hotel with a busy street full of pedestrians, cars, and trolleys. The letter on the back reads, "Dear Cousin Mamie, I believe you just waited until you knew we would be gone before coming home. But really, I hope you are better now. I was feeling pretty low all the time I was gone, but fine now. Give my best to all the family, and thank them for their kindness. Sincerely, Rilboern." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin McFaddin Ave. Beaumont, Tex."
