Club officers are identified as Frank Newton (President) and Leslie Jarvis (Secretary). Club activities included appearances at the Kerrville Rotary Club and Schreiner Institute concerts as well as competition in the junior college men’s division voice contests held at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas on April 3, 1937 where the chorus won first place in its division and cadet Richard Jenkins was awarded top honor in the men’s solo contest.

Sheriff George Boothe, 1937-1938

Portrait of George Boothe, sheriff of Wilson County, Texas, standing out-of-doors in front of an unidentified building. He is wearing a light-colored uniform with a dark tie as well as a hat and utility belt holding bullets. Handwritten text on the back of the photograph says: "Sheriff Boot[he"]. George Boothe, 1937 to 1938, Mrs. Geo. Boothe was appointed sherrif [sic] in May 1939 due to the death of her husband." and "WCHS prop., donated by Sherriff [sic] 'Pete' Bauman, 1990."

Postcard to Harry Redeffer. The sender writes that she's able to stay another 3 weeks and discusses the state of the weather. The front of the postcard features a perspective view photograph of Main Street, Boerne, Texas. On either side of the street are trees and shopfronts. Electrical poles line the left side as well. The name of the street is printed at the bottom of the postcard.
