Schreiner Institute Cadet Dayton "Shorty" Stockton as a student was Lieutenant Colonel and Battalion Commander for the Schreiner Cadet Corps. He was named "Most Military Cadet", Secretary-Treasurer of the Officer's Club and Schreiner Institute Senior Class President according to the 1937 Recall Yearbook. Stockton would go on to serve Schreiner as Assistant Commandant and Commandant of the Cadet Corps in the 1940s.

George Boothe, 1937 to 1938, Mrs. Geo. Boothe was appointed sherrif [sic] in May 1939 due to the death of her husband." and "WCHS prop., donated by Sherriff [sic] 'Pete' Bauman, 1990."

The front of the postcard features a perspective view photograph of Main Street, Boerne, Texas. On either side of the street are trees and shopfronts. Electrical poles line the left side as well. The name of the street is printed at the bottom of the postcard.
