The back of the postcard adds, "Under the rose covered pergola, in Memory Park, is a bronze Memorial Tablet bearing the names of Utah's hero dead who made the supreme sacrifice in the World War. The Park is one of Salt Lake's beauty spots covering the walls of City Creek Canyon opposite the State Capitol Building." The message on the back is illegible. Postcard of a town as seen from an aerial view, further described as "This is a most remarkable picture as seen from the eye of the bird man. It shows most of the historical points of interest and many new ones. In the foreground are the "Mormon" Temple Square, the Hotel Utah, the Lion and Beehive Houses, the new Church Office building, Z. C. M. I. and other business houses. In the center are the L. D. S. Buildings and in the distance the Utah State Capitol." The message on the back is illegible. The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Carroll E. Ward Texas Ice Co. Beaumont, Texas."
