The front of the postcard features a photograph of two women standing on a large rock inside a dark cavern. Both women are wearing trousers and t-shirts, and the woman on the right has her hair pulled back into small draped turban. They are illuminated by a light from somewhere on the ground, which also reveals the large rock formations on the cave wall behind them. At their feet is a sign that reads, "Visit Cascade Caverns." The name of the cave, "Tobacco Room," is printed at the top of the postcard.

Postcard from L. & A. to Mr. Lon Hale, discussing their home, which they say is near the scene depicted on the postcard. The front of the postcard features a photograph of a small, sloped mountain covered with trees at the top and base of the mountain, and dotted with trees around the middle. At the base of the largest part of the slope are three buildings - two barns and one two-story house with columns.

It continues with, "Dear Mamie I guess you think I am dead for not writing but I was so busy the week before I left that I did not have time to write + we are so busy here going all the time that I don't think I will be able to write to you this summer. It is very cold here. We are going to climb the mountain this afternoon. You must write to me while I am here. Jassie Polk Address Chautauqua Grounds Boulder, Col." Long's Peak (Alt. 14,255 Ft.) and Glacier Gorge in Background." The message on the back reads, "Dear Aunt Mamie I have picked up this pen to tell you that we are having a wonderful time. Wish you were with us your loving niece, Northcall." The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Mamie Ward 1906 McFaddin Beaumont, Texas."

The second film strip has gold and green trees against a blue-cast mountain, and a dark skyline. The third has a blue mountain beyond a green treeline on the edge of a lake, and rolling green hills. Obscuring the bottom two scenes are obscured by a sketch of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. At the bottom, the postcard adds " "Host of the West" Cosmopolitan Hotel Denver, Colorado."

Below the picture, the postcard describes the view as "Manitou from Serpentine Drive, Manitou, Colo." On the back, the postcard adds, "Manitou from Serpentine Drive Situated at the foot of Pikes Peak nearly surrounded by high mountains lies Manitou, where all the springs in the Pikes Peak region are located. This water is bottled and used as table water, also used for bathing purposes. The finest and most modern Bath House in the United States is located in the center of the town. In this building is the famous and original Manitou Soda Spring at which water is served free to the public."
