Postcard of a cobblestone street lit only by fairy lights strung between buildings over the street. The scene is described as "Patton Ave. at Night, Asheville, N. C." The letter on the back reads, "Dear Mamie: Well by now I suppose you have reached school + settled down and had work, have you not? Well you must write to me real letters. Love to sister Ida. With love, Smith." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie L. McFaddin to Gunston Hall 1906 Fla. Ave. Washington, D. C."
