The class provided religious instruction through bible stories and songs as well as youth entertainment through games, movies and handicraft activities. The image was taken on the grounds of the church.

It shows most of the historical points of interest and many new ones. In the foreground are the "Mormon" Temple Square, the Hotel Utah, the Lion and Beehive Houses, the new Church Office building, Z. C. M. I. and other business houses. In the center are the L. D. S. Buildings and in the distance the Utah State Capitol." The message on the back is illegible. Official air patrol memo containing extracts from a report of a mission flown the previous day over Nicaragua. Included in the report are mail drops and communication with Marine ground patrols. One Marine's disappearance in a river and another's injury by airdropped rations are recorded.

Newspaper clipping of the article "Ceremony to honor veteran of Civil War" with a photo of sixteen people including Levi Marion Head, who is the subject of the newspaper article. The article announces the dedication of a marker honoring Levi Marion Head to be placed in the Buel Cemetery, hosted by Head's great-great-grandson, Benjamin L. Head, the Gen. Richardson Taylor Camp No. 1308 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Shreveport, Lousiana, the Belle Boyd Chapter of the Order of the Confederate Rose, The Lone Star Chapter No. 8, OCR, and the Head family. The article also includes some biographical information about Head's descendants who still live in the Johnson County, Texas.
