The front of the postcard features a photograph (colored in with ink) of Fern Bank waterfall in Boerne Texas. The waterfall is a small stream of water spilling over a rocky ledge covered in greenery. The water fall cascades down a short distance, and then over a rock and into a pool of water. There are more rocks and greenery on either side of the waterfall.

Handwritten on the back of the postcard, "Dear Julia - This is Sunday and we are busy as ever. I will write a letter tomorrow Hoping this will find you well and happy Mamma." The card is addressed to Mrs. Julia Stafford, Meridian Mississippi (Meridian Norman's College).
