The outer edge of the plate has decorative scallops edged in blue and there are images of colored flowers around the center image: blue flowers at the top, left, purple flowers at the lower left, and yellow flowers at right.

The building appears to be Spanish-style architecture with square towers and red-tile roofs, as well as a large arched roof behind; flags are flying from various towers. The dish also has a decorative, scalloped edging that is white with some gilding.

There are panes below the slots; the left one is blank, but the right slots display the numbers "2" and "5." There is a lock on the bottom where the coins can be removed.
