Accompanying information on the back of the photograph states that the home was started in 1919 and completed after about 14 years by Hans Jergen, his sons, and a man named Dobbins.

Soldiers pay record book from World War I belonging to Andrew Jensen. Information recorded includes total monthly pay, deductions, net monthly pay, date paid, and the name of the quartermaster making the payment. According to the title page, this book was carried by the soldier for his own records. The book indicates that Jensen's total monthly wages were $33.00, and his net monthly pay, after $7.00 deducted for insurance, was $26.00. His monthly pat later went up to $40.20 total and $33.20 net. Jensen was drafted into the National Army on September 19, 1917 and reported to Bay City, Texas. The pay book was opened on January 1, 1919, and he returned to the U.S. from foreign service on June 15,1919. He applied for War Risk Insurance in the amount of $10,000.

The publication was the official newsletter of the Katholischen Staats-Verbands (Catholic State Association of Texas) and contains many articles about association business and events, editorials, and letters to the editor. The publication contains information about the association's history and bylaws as well as yearly listings of association officers.

Postcard sent out by the Local Board of Grundy County in Iowa to notify Ejner L. Wind to appear for a physical examination. The front of the postcard gives information about the date of the examination, and also warns Ejner that failure to appear may result in a loss of rights or immediately induct him to imprisonment or military service. On the back of the postcard, there is postage information.

A postcard from the chairman of the Erie, Pennsylvania selective service board to Dr. Meyer Bodansky requesting acknowledgment of his induction into the United States Medical Department.

Hand-written and printed document from the United States Army given to Andrew Jensen after a military promotion. At the very top of the document, there is a black and white illustration of an eagle amongst various symbolic elements that make up the particular emblem. It hovers over bold text and is enclosed in a gray cloud-like gray area. The document states that Andrew made the transition to corporal at Camp Travis in Texas. Crease lines can be seen both length-wise and width-wise.

Certificate of naturalization provided to Andrew Jensen after he became a citizen of the United States. Some biographical information is provided as well as additional standard signatures and bureaucratic fine print. There are two stamps on the back of the certificate, both of which appear to be written in Danish.

The car has a two wheel wagon attachment on the back, carrying a large load of packages, which have been stacked on top of each other. Behind them, a two-story house can be seen amidst an empty plot of land. The house has intersecting gable roofs with a chimney on top and two visible balconies bordered by railing posts. The bay window on the right side of the house, according to accompanying information, was added in 1918.

They both wear lace-up boots, hats, and loose-fitting pants, but the man on the left wears a button-up jacket with multiple button-flap pockets, as oppose to the man on the right, who simply wears a long-sleeve shirt.
