Her work has been exhibited in Kerrville and numerous regional juried shows. She is married to Bob Barton, a lawyer, who served as Assistant County Attorney, County Attorney, District Attorney, and District Judge. He also taught at St. Mary's Law School and authored two books for law enforcement officers. The couple have three children, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
