Interview with James (Bud) Wright, an entomologist and inventor who has several patents. He received a PhD in Medical Entomology from Texas A&M in 1963 and worked in the field of printentomology. He specialized in neurohormonal mechanisms of metamorphosis and reproduction in economically damaging arthropods. He led the program that led to the eradication of the boll weevil. Married to Judy Wright, the two had a blended family of two sons, two daughters, and many grandchildren. The interview covers his family history, education and research, enjoyment of bass fishing, and ranching of cows and calves in retirement.

Interview with Wilma Dell Council Teague, a teacher from Kerrville, Texas. Teague discusses her family and her father's furniture store and lumberyard in Kerrville, her experience in the Tivy High School band, her teaching career, and her volunteer work.

Interview with Lois Lorraine Green Shaw and Evelyn Mills Shields who have been friends for 49 years and live on the same street. Lois Shaw moved to Kerrville with her husband. She attended nursing school and worked in the operating room at Sid Peterson Hospital for many years, and later as a geriatrics administrator at a care facility. She is active in her church, St. Paul Methodist, and has served on many community boards. She and her husband Charles (deceased) had seven children. Evelyn Shields graduated from Doyle High School, she worked as therapist at Kerrville State Hospital for 33 years. She enjoys cooking and is active in her church, Mount Olive Baptist. Interview with Frances Schumacher Andrews, Billie Schumacher Zuber, and Jeanne Schumacher Sutton, three sisters who grew up in Kerrville. They discuss their family history, the Schumacher family business and land, and individual experiences working at the Kerrville Courthouse, becoming an accountant, and joining the military.

Interview with Joe Schmerber, who worked for and helped establish departments in Mooney Aircraft Company and Bridgestone Tires. The interview discusses his parents, early years as one of nine children, his work experience, education, interest in aviation, and family life.

Interview with Louis Romero Jr., who carried on the Mexican food business and Tortilla Factory started by his grandmother, Delphina Torres, in Kerrville. The interview discusses his family history, upbringing, the development of Torres, a Mexican restaurant, his grandmother's sending canned tamales to World War II troops, military service, and family. Interview with Jo Ann "Josie" Lochte Redden, Montessori educator and stained glass artist, discussing her German extended family, her upbringing in Kerrville, Texas, life in New York, and travel with her husband John throughout Texas and western United States to photograph, catalogue, and reproduce Native American pictographs, or rock paintings.

Interview with Wayne Edward O'Bryant, who recalls his family history, growing up in Kerrville, Texas, and his career after inheriting his father's café and eventually owning an antique store in the same location.

Interview with Nell Lenard, secretary, administrative assistant, homemaker, and community organizer, who helped bring senior citizen's center, the Dietert Center to the city of Kerrville, Texas. Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, she and her husband John Houston Lenard lived in Tomball, near Houston, before moving to Kerrville with their family. Nell raised four boys and a girl and was heavily involved in her their lives and activities.

Interview with Karen and Clark Klein. Karen attended Notre Dame Catholic School in Kerrville and graduated from Tivy High School before completed a course at Durham Business College. She worked at Wool and Mohair Warehouse in Ingram before marrying Clark in 1962. Clark also attended Notre Dame School and Tivy where the couple met. He served in the Army for three years, worked briefly the postal services, and enlisted again in the National Guard. He served until 1982 and achieved the rank of Command Sergeant Major. The couple had three children and lived in San Antonio, Austin for ten years, before moving back to Kerrville.

Interview with Mary Elaine Adamek Jones, who worked as a labor and delivery nurse, got her doctorate of philosophy in cultural anthropology from Southern Methodist University, and directed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Texas at Arlington before retiring after 25 years. She also taught nursing for 13 years at the University of the Incarnate Word in Kerrville. The interview details her father's career as an accomplished saddle maker, her education, and career, and family memories. Mary Elaine and her husband, Thomas, have two children. Interview with Raul Rafael "Rocky" Hernandez, Jr., a United States Army veteran and Austin restaurant owner from Kerrville. Rocky describes his memories growing up in Kerrville, work at the Huber Bakery, playing football at Tivy High School, being a Ranger in the United States Army, his accident, and starting restaurant with his wife.

Interview with Ronald Girard, a veteran of the United States Air Force and post office worker. Girard describes his experiences as a navigator in the U.S. Air Force, participating in experimental tests run by the CIA at Area 51 as a part of the 1129th Special Activity Squad, experience in the Vietnam War, and working as a mail carrier in Kerrville.

Interview with Joyce and Bob Barton. Joyce played stand-up string bass with the Poverty Playboys. She holds a Fine Arts degree and painted, particularly oils. Her work has been exhibited in Kerrville and numerous regional juried shows. She is married to Bob Barton, a lawyer, who served as Assistant County Attorney, County Attorney, District Attorney, and District Judge. He also taught at St. Mary's Law School and authored two books for law enforcement officers. The couple have three children, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Oral history with Timothy Tian Bao Estes regarding his adoption from Luyong SWI in Hunan Province, China at the age of 14. He describes his childhood in China, growing up with a woman who took him in and in an orphanage and his adoption to the United States. He also speaks about his experiences as a teenager in Washington, the difficulties of adjusting to his new circumstances and how he joined the Jobs Corps program and later, Americorps.

Oral History with Naomi Ji regarding her adoption from Shanghai to the United Kingdom. She speaks about her university studies, growing up in rural England, and her experiences traveling internationally. She then shares her impressions of issues surrounding international and transracial adoption in the United Kingdom including the availability of resources and support networks to adoptees and families. She also discusses her Youtube channel, why she began making videos, and the videos she's created.

Interview with Grace, Zoe, and Kai Purtell regarding their adoptions from Guangdong Province (Grace and Zoe) and Yunnan Province (Kai), China. At the time of the interview, Grace and Zoe (twins) were nine years old and Kai was five years old. Kai shares his adoption story and the surgeries he's had to correct his cleft palate. Zoe speaks about her desire to visit China when she's older and Grace speaks about her skill with drawing.

Oral history with Jian Rzeszewicz regarding her adoption to Washington from Zhan-Jian, Guadong Province, China. She shares what her childhood was like, particularly that the diversity of the general population in Washington helped her feel more accepted, and her parents' efforts to connect her to Chinese culture and other adoptees. She also discusses her connections to the other girls adopted at the same time as her and her trip to China where she visited the orphanage where she lived as a baby. She also shares the emotional impact of meeting her foster mother and her advocacy for adopted children in the United States.
