The letter also suggests the preparation of a petition if the recipient wants the concerns of the lodge to be taken into consideration.

It is mentioned that the consolidation has been discussed the management of the company, but no formal permission has been given. The consolidation was not approved by the General Committee of the Firemen's Organization until the last meeting in Dallas during spring of 1917.
