US Highway 79 can be seen in the foreground running left to right (west to east) an intersecting with Mays Avenue, which runs from the lower right to the southern horizon in the distance. Downtown Round Rock can be seen in the left center of the photo, and a water tower can be seen in its midst. A note can be seen written on the back reads, "Picture made about 1950" along with Noel Grisham's signature in different colored ink and another scratched out note.
