Warranty deed from Zebulon Jenkins and his wife, to J. E. M. Yates for "all our undivided one half interest in a to the following described lot, tract or parcel of land" in Grapevine, Texas. According to the description, the purchase is a piece of land in a three acre lot had been "conveyed to E. R. Boardman by E. N. Hudgins and wife," and is the same lot "conveyed by E. R. Boardman and wife G. E. Bushong, J. L. Morehead, Z. T. Wall, J. E. M. Yates and Zeb Jenkins." The statement on the back of the document states that both members of the selling party appeared before the notary public on their on behalf.

Letter from William A. Molster to Earl Yates discussing "Amendment 107 to Ration Order 17, which permits the selling on a ration-free basis of men's and women's lox priced shoes." The letter walks him through the application process, and contains the form needed to be filled out and sent to his district office.

Bill of sale receipt to Bud Yates for the purchase of 11 3/4 gallons of gasoline for the total cost of $1.80.

Land deed from G. E. Bushong, A. E. Bushong, J. L. Morehead and E. H. Morehead to Zebulon Jenkins and J. E. M. Yates agreeing to sell a tract of land in Grapevine, Texas for $1,000 paid by Jenkins and Yates. The deed gives Jenkins and Yates "one half undivided interest" to the land; the following paragraph describes the perimeters of the land including in the purchase.

Three bank notes prepared for J. E. M. Yates. The first acknowledges that J. M. Davis will pay him $15 with an interest rate of 10% per annum as of January 1, 1906. The second note is dated October 1, 1906 and says that P. C. Davis "one year after date, I, we, or either of us, promise to pay...twenty seven and 45/100 Dollars." The third note is dated January 16, 1902 and stipulates that P. C. Davis "On Oct 1st 1902 after date I, we, or, either of us, promise to pay to the order of J. E. M. Yates" $18 with ten percent interest.

The note on the front cover of the book says that they should not use it "Until After December 30 Since All Grapevine Telephone Numbers Will Be Changed..."

Three National Service Life Insurance cards for Estill Yates, two have a due date on the first of July 1945 and one has a due date on the first of August 1945. Each card shows the premium total due, as well as the policy number for Estill.

Letter from B. R. Wall to Earl Yates inviting him to "smoke the pipe of peace with the BBraves and Warriors of Caddo Tribe No. 30" on June 20, 1941. Also enclosed is a card with with "I am" and other "I" phrases highlighting the individual's citizenship and devotion to the United States of America. The envelope these were placed in is also included in the record.

Letter from A. D. Whiteside requesting financial statements from business partners as "[i]t is extremely important under existing conditions to expedite...the flow of merchandise and finance." Whiteside's company is "the largest agency in the world...acting between you and your sources of credit." Also included in the record is the envelope that the letter was delivered in.

Land deed from Mr. and Mrs. Boardman to G. E. Bushong, J. L. Morehead, Z. T. Wall, Zebulong Jenkins, and J. E. M. Yates, acknowledging the sale of a piece of land for the sum of $75. The second paragraph outlines the perimeters of the land being sold, which is on the three acre lot "deeded to E. R. Boardman and S. A. Boardman by E. N. Hudgins and wife..." The statement on the second page says that the undersigned "This day personally appeared E. R. Boardman, S. A. Boardman" on their own free will.

The deed gives the men ownership of land "lying in the village of Grapevine County of Tarrant, on the waters of Denton Creek."
