Letter from Claude Kavanaugh, of the Trans-State Oil Company, to R. B. McMillen concerning the value of Big Indian properties being highly valuable and "are going to be mad more valuable." This letter is in response to the huge amount of mail received by the unite holders from his original general letter. Also included is a flash announcement which, at the end, asks the unit holders to "sign and send in the enclosed proxy so that we may represent you...to defeat the present sale of the property."

The illustration on the front of the card shows a burning candle behind a few puffy flowers; there is a lengthy note on the side of the picture wishing a happy Thanksgiving.

Postcard from Kate Matlock to Edna Matlock saying that her children have had the chicken pox and that is why she has not written often. The illustration on the front of the card shows a little girl playing with a stick and a hoop; the note next to the picture reads: "This simple little card I send Is just to say to you That if it rains or if it shines My love for you is true."

Thanksgiving dinner invitation from Kate Matlock; the card says that the dinner will be on November 25, 1924 from 3 to 5 o'clock.

She says that her and the family are doing fine and are expecting someone soon but their child "has the chicken pox and measles." The image on the front of the card shows a bald eagle holding an American flag in its talons with a poem written underneath."

Postcard from Maurine Matlock to her friend with a photograph of Veracruz, Mexico as seen from a hill. The note on the reverse side of the card says that they had a storm the other night, and dealing with cotton and corn.

Postcard from Milton Andrew Matlock to his father, M. M. Matlock, with a photograph of the "Prize Winning Gun Crew, U. S. S. Georgia," with the crew of the ship are sitting on the guns. On the back of the card there is a note from Milton Andrew saying he received letters from the family and was "glad to here it has rained in Tex."
