Interview with Rena Fay Stone Sherman, descendant of Kerr County settlers and local business owner from Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Sherman describes some of her family history, local history, and her two antique businesses. She also discusses her family's ranch.

Interview with Clarabelle Barton Snodgrass, vice-chair of the Kerr County Historical Commission from Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Snodgrass talks about growing up on a primitive ranch, struggling to survive during the Depression, meeting and marrying her husband, their family, their involvement with music, and her efforts to preserve the history of Kerr County. She also briefly discusses the honors and awards her volunteer work has earned her. Pages 2-13 include a written statement by Miles Abernathy Lowrence, Clarabelle's maternal great-uncle.

Interview with Marguerite Sammon Voges, a Kerr County Native whose mother established the Voges Mobil Home Park (under the name, Blue Ridge Mobile Home Park), from Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Voges describes growing up in the area, the flood of 1978, her family, and interesting aspects of farm life. Her sister, Minneola, and her cousin, Josie B. Kendall, are also present during the interview.

Interview with Don Eugene "Gene" Lock, descendant of Kerr County pioneers and rancher from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Lock talks about how his family ended up in the area, his experience as a rancher, and his memories of horse breeding and racing. He also discusses his work for Kerrville's newspaper, the Mountain Sun, and his Bible education. Mr. Lock mentions briefly that he boxed as a young man.

Interview with George Allen Holekamp, a rancher and descendant of Kerr County settlers from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Holekamp details his family's history in Kerr County. He mentions that his ancestors included farmers, ranchers, and shingle-makers. He and his wife Mary Virginia Stevens are still involved in ranching and community activities, and their legacy continues on with their children. In his stories of ranching, he discusses ranchers' struggles with screwworm infestations and Brucellosis (Bang's Disease), the Bracero program, the Rural Electrification Association, and the Sheep and Goats Raisers Auxiliary.

Interview with Levi and Evelyn Taylor, former owners of Kerrville's well-loved restaurant, "The Grove," from Ingram, Texas. The couple talks about the history of their restaurant, the day-to-day operation of the establishment, local people and places, and moving back to the area after a short stint in Corpus Christi, Texas.
