Interview with Homer James "Jim" Avery, founder of James Avery Craftsman from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Avery discusses his childhood, education, service in World War II, and starting and developing his jewelry business. The interview includes photographs of Mr. Avery, on pages 35-41.

A handwritten note on the back of the postcard is addressed to Miss Alma Blank in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and says "Dear Friend - Received your letter and was very glad to hear from you. We have to go out on the shooting on the range. It is raining here a little tonight. Please send me your address when you go to Waupun. Will write a letter later. Billy."

Postcard to Mrs. Tillie (Matilda Hut-McCoy) Collins in Waco, Texas from her cousin, Emma during Christmas 1907. The picture on the front of the card shows a young child blowing a bugle with a golden horseshoe acting as a border and greenery all around it. There is a note on the back of the card also that reads: "With Best Wishes from all. Let us hear from you, yours Emma."

Postcard from a man named Edward to George Pendexter with a note saying: "These are the first pictures I have been able to get since leaving home. Hope they suit you." The photograph on the reverse side shows the hook and ladder company of the Waukesha Fire Department in Waukesha, Wisconsin; this company is made up of eight firemen. The horse-drawn wagon in this photo is carrying a load of ladders in the back, along with fire helmets and various hooks.
