Interview with Robert Edward Sieker, a pilot from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Sieker discusses his grandfather's immigration from Germany. In addition to his stories from his extensive flying career, he also talks about his service in the military during World War II, his various occupations throughout the years, and his work against the screwworm infestation.

The note on the back of the card asks his mother why she has not responded to his letters, as well as mentions that he sent her a box of photos of the U. S. S. Utah and crew.

The photograph on the reverse side shows one of the chemical trucks pulled by two horses in front of the local fire station in Springfield, Massachusetts; there are five firemen also posing with the wagon, three are standing in the back and two are sitting in the driver's seat. There are ladders and a rolled up water hose in the back of the wagon.

The photograph on the back of the card shows a group of firemen standing next to a fire truck with the title "Auxiliary Squad A" written on the engine. Two of the men are sitting in the front seat while the other six are standing near the rear of the vehicle; the truck has a large rack in the back with gear loaded on it such as hats, ropes, and ladders.

The photo shows the Springfield fire station on Oakland Street with the firefighters standing outside in their uniforms and horse-drawn vehicles. In the note, Woodward says that this station is located about two miles from the center of the city.

A handwritten note on the border of the picture says "I guess the Mexicans make it but believe me I give them hell when I see them." Another note on the back of the postcard is addressed to Mr. Philip Simonean in North Oxford, Massachusetts and says, " I see a lot of stuff that is worse then Old Crow. Dear Pa, I hope the old Twisters are doing good. I think I am as hard as a rock now and I could work like a mule when I get back. I feel fine this life is just the thing to make me grow. Your loving son Henry."

A handwritten note on the back of the photo is addressed to Mrs. Philip Simonean in North Oxford, Massachusetts and says, "Dear Mother, I am coming back East to see you soon and I hope George will be there when I get back. I may get a week off as I am going to save my passes here so I can have them at home. With loads of love, Henry."
