Interview with Martha R. Johnson, owner of the popular Raleigh House Restaurant, from Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Johnson discusses the origins and establishment of her restaurant, which was named after her husband, Raleigh White Johnson. She described the success of the restaurant and her experiences running it for 34 summers.

Interview with Mary Margaret Hall Doyen, who was born in the Philippines and moved to Kerrville, Texas when she was 9. Mrs. Doyen details the reasons her family moved to the Philippines, and then to Kerrville. Within the interview, she also talks about her family history (including her Cherokee Indian heritage), the flood of 1932, her grandparent's jewelry store, Self's Jewelry, her schooling in Kerrville, meeting her husband, Glen Doyen, during World War II, and her various occupations throughout her life. Mrs. Doyen says she possesses many photos of Kerrville because of her and her mother's work as photography developers.

Letter from Colonel J. R. Duffy to the U.S. Army Primary Helicopter School congratulating them on their 10th anniversary. On the back of the letter is a stamp giving the Boyce-Ditto Public Library's address.

Johnston to George Pendexter telling him of a recent fire they had "the 11th and one Sunday morning at 3 a.m." The photograph shows a devastated building with a caption that reads: "Great Fendrich Fire Ruins Main St. Looking West from 2nd St. Evansville, Indiana." The building in the center is almost completely destroyed while the one to its left has most of its walls still standing though its roof is gone.
