Rodriguez discusses the history of Mexico as it relates to Texan history, including stories about his great-grandfather, Jose Policarpo "Polly" Rodriguez, an early pioneer of the Texas Hill Country. He goes through his own family history, family stories, his service in WWII, his education, and the people and places in Kerrville.
