Travel log prepared by John Philip Herlin Bahl in August 1964 concerning their trip to Waco, Texas. He describes his visitation with his sister, Josephine Wheatly, in her home on the day that she died; he recalled their conversation: "We discussed several different thing and a couple of business matters that I had that she knew was unfinished and she asked me a lot of detail..." He also discusses his visit to Dr. Cramer due to chest pains, and was diagnosed with a "nice case of Shingles."

Letter from Colonel Arnold A. Berglund to the U.S. Army Primary Helicopter School congratulating them on their 10th anniversary. On the back of the letter is a stamp giving the Boyce-Ditto Public Library's address.

Letter from Walter Gresham, Sr. to Miss Lorraine concerning the prospective marriage of her and Thomas Dew Gresham. Walter discusses his hope that they do go through with the marriage and tells her that she "will find [Thomas] ambitious, honorable, energetic and domestic in his tastes and habits." He repeatedly expresses his admiration for her and the future for her and his son.

Letter from Ingrid Griggs to her husband Lieutenant Colonel Charles R. Griggs regarding daily life back home and that she had to use a check to get a birthday present for James. Ingrid also notes that she has made $15 by mowing yards, and paid someone to take out a lot of trash cans.

Letter from Claude Kavanaugh, of the Trans-State Oil Company, to R. B. McMillen concerning the value of Big Indian properties being highly valuable and "are going to be mad more valuable." This letter is in response to the huge amount of mail received by the unite holders from his original general letter. Also included is a flash announcement which, at the end, asks the unit holders to "sign and send in the enclosed proxy so that we may represent you...to defeat the present sale of the property."

Letter from Estill Yates to his mother discussing life and that he probably will not "be able to get back for several more months."

Letter from D. L. Yoas to Dr. Joseph Pound discussing recent events such as the fact that Pound's son had stayed a few nights with them and that he would like to come and get the peach trees the doctor had offered him. At the end of the letter he wishes the doctor and his family a "Merry Christmas and happy New Year."
