The Getty Education Institute has provided the participants with a summary of the DBAE Leadership forum that was held January 11, 1997. The summary describes all that had transpired at the DBAE Leadership conference, beginning with a speech from the Director of Getty Education Institute for the Arts, Leilani Lattin Duke. The context of the summary is positive, the recommendations from the conferences' discussion are being used by the Education Institute to inform long-range plans for educational reform, taking arts education into the next century.

Stephens would like this event to be hospitable to visiting educators and would like to visit Schronk's next art meeting to beg her case before the teachers.
