A letter from William McCarter, co-director of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, to Leilani Lattin Duke, director of the Getty Center for Education in the Arts. The letter is personal exchange from McCarter to Duke, with McCarter using in-formalities and jest. McCarter writes that he has been asked to chair a panel for a Teacher / Docent conference at the National Gallery of Art, he also thanks Duke for the lead in regard to the proposal for a video disc on aesthetics. After talking with Same Howe, Simon and Shcuster, the suggested idea would take a least a million dollars to put together an interactive disc as complex as the aesthetics proposal. The video will be used my Jack Davis and William McCarter at the upcoming National Conference and it will be used during the teleconference between Nebraska and Texas.
