The memo is in regards to the airline reservation deadline of September 25, 1989 in order to arrive at the airport in time for the first meeting.

A letter from Luis Peon-Casanova, Producer / Director at Nebraska ETV Network, to Jack Davis, co-director of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts. The letter is in regards to the work that the everyone has put into for the teleconference collaboration. Per a letter of agreement the University of Nebraska Television (NETV) will reimburse the Institute for Visual Arts a fix amount of two-thousand dollars for the uplinks, facilities and personnel for rehearsal and broadcast.

The vision statement also describes the programs that SIEVA has developed in order to achieve their goals for educational reformation, by offering maintenance programs, professional development programs, technical assistance services and more.

An executive summary written by the University of North Texas to summarize their impending goals and strategies as they undertake a capital campaign to achieve $25 million. The Centennial Capital Campaign will focus on the solicitation and acquisition of monetary gifts from private sources for the ideal goal for the University to expand as it is continuously growing. Many of the private sources will be North Texas alumni, corporations, private foundations and friends of the University. Incorporated in the summary is a schedule for the campaign.

A newspaper clipping published in The North Texas Daily, with the headline "Student's sought for new art grant," written by Julie Freeman. A grant for $600,000 from the Edward and Betty Marcus Foundation will provide stipends for fifteen NT graduate students studying art education during the next three years. The grant will continue paying for the NT's Marcus Fellows Program until August 2001. The purpose of the fellowship is to allow graduate students to develop innovative ways to teach art and art appreciation.

An article featured in Arts & Activities newsletter, by Pamela Geiger Stephens and Michelle Mattoon. Pamela Geieger Stephens is a teaching fellow and graduate research assistant at the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, University of North Texas, and Michelle Mattoon is a pre-service art specialist at the University of North Texas. Their article, "Thinking like an Artist," is about a puzzle activity for school children to help develop their own original ideas and encourages careful observation of a work of art. Stephens and Mattoon have developed this puzzle activity to allow students to act like an art critic and aesthetician as they describe an image.
