Inviting him to be a advisory committee member of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts. Davis and McCarter writes that being a member of the advisory committee they will periodically review the activities of the Institute and serve as liaison between the community and the Institute, which serves as stepping stone towards comprehensive visual arts program being integrated in school districts. Davis and McCarter write that they are excited about the opportunity to improve the quality of visual arts for students and develop a more informed audience.
