Davis and McCarter regret that Wright was unable to join them for the executive briefing on the North Texas Regional Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, "North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts" (NTIEVA), Wednesday, June 19. Following the briefing was an all-day workshop, Friday, June 21 which was attended by staff representatives from each consortium in the Institute, to discuss grant proposals which with offer opportunities for staff development and curriculum implementation in the visual arts. Enclosed at the end of the letter to Wright is information the functional committees and their list of responsibilities, for the upcoming Matching Funds Advisory Committee and Wright's assistance in its regard. The memo is in regards to the Fall meeting on Student Assessment, the meeting has to be moved back and they've reached out to the directors on schedule for either November 4-7, 1989 or November 11-14, 1989. Rosenberg requests they keep the dates open until further notice.

The letter is in regards to the Tandy Foundation's earlier rejection of the grant support proposal submitted by North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts and Beech writes that there is not much encouragement that their decision will be changed in the matter.

Thanking Davis for his visit to the Young Audiences Auditions on February 15, they were happy to have it video and stay during the whole organization. O'Donnell also writes that she is excited that Young Audiences will have an opportunity to provide a program for NTIEVA's Summer Institute and will forward Davis 175 artists brochures and study guides.
