In discussion of the five-year grant from the Getty Center for Education in the Arts and that their grant outline specifically requires an annual match from the University of North Texas. UNT must come up with $397,000 in cash and $133,000 in gifts over the five-year grant period. Burton writes that the Getty Foundation is more than willing to help UNT raise the matching funds, as they are interested in seeing this project be successful. Burton expresses that Muro and Jack Davis hold a meeting with Bob Crow, of the Amon Carter to discuss Carter's participation in the project and hopefully become a contributor.

The memo is in regards to updating the Center's survey they had asked the Directors to complete in the Summer of 1991 for the last year's Advisory Committee Notebook. In the memo, Abel has attached a chart showing the state-wide impact of the Regional Institutes that was complied form the information. Abel requests updated figures from 1992 by September 24, 1992.
