The memo is in regards to the Center's expectations of each of the organizations comprising the regional institute consorts in making significant contributions to the development and on-going refinement of the regional institute programs. The February meeting will begin with a reception and dinner, where they will hear presentations from each project museum representatives.

Letter from Roger D. Semerad, President of RJR Nabisco, to Julie Abel, program associate for the Getty Center for Education in the Arts. The letter is in regards to prior correspondence between Abel and Semerad, where Abel requested an application to attend the RJR Nabisco Foundation's China Breakers Conference, June 20-23, 1993, at the Landsdowne Conference Center, Leesburg, Virginia. Semerad writes that applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, so early admission is advisable.

The memo is in regards to their prior correspondence, the proposal from Nebrasak dated May 5, 1992 has listed part of the budget information for Texas' contribution of $7,000. The letter is in regards to Hignight's company involving in the teleconference project and Casanova is grateful that Hignight is donating some services and facilities to make the production possible. Casanova needs a written statement indicating the extent and description of the donations, including the cost.

A letter from Vicki Rosenberg, program officer at the Getty Center for Education in the Arts, to Sheila Brown, director of Prairie Visions, Jack Davis and William McCarter, co-directors of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts. In the letter Rosenberg states that the Center has agreed to collaborate with the Nebraska Prairie Visions and the North Texas Institute on the October 21, 1992 teleconference, "Schools, Museums, Art and Children: A Dialogue of States."

The memo is in regards to the North Texas and Nebraska Teleworkshop. Lynda Alford, art supervisors, has given Reynolds dates for videotaping art specialists and the classrooms with the teachers and art specialists. Reynolds needs to know if the dates are possible since Wagner and Huebner need to go through the proper channels.

A letter from William McCarter, co-director of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, to Leilani Lattin Duke, director of the Getty Center for Education in the Arts. The letter is personal exchange from McCarter to Duke, with McCarter using in-formalities and jest. McCarter writes that he has been asked to chair a panel for a Teacher / Docent conference at the National Gallery of Art, he also thanks Duke for the lead in regard to the proposal for a video disc on aesthetics. After talking with Same Howe, Simon and Shcuster, the suggested idea would take a least a million dollars to put together an interactive disc as complex as the aesthetics proposal.
