Bunghon Suungnem of Leingangching, Beshot Tholung of Thamlapokpi, and Daniel Tholung of Thamlakhuren discuss the names of the months in Lamkang. He explains how some of the months were named differently by the Lamkang Council, which he finds incorrect and wants them to make corrections. He shares the different names given by people from different villages like the Mantri Pantha, which is different to what he knew. He shares how he requested the Lamkang Kver Kunpun to make the necessary corrections for future purposes. This was recorded during the Seminar on Culture and Origin of the Lamkangs.

A discussion of the names of the months in Lamkang with Thamnung Sankhil Tholungnu of Thamlakhuren, for example how in the month of Purdun, the cows came home from the jungle. They were discussing how some say or name them differently in some cases. Later they discuss the elders from different villages trying to see who is from which village.

Shekarnong Sankhil and Tholung Beshot of Thamlapokpi discuss Tchaan Yamluung, a musical instrument used by the Lamkangs and the Kachin people in Myanmar, who are also called red people and can be our people.

A traditional folktale of Raapaa as told by Shetphong Sankhil at Thamlapokpi village in Chandel district, Manipur, India. Raapaa is a poor honest boy who killed the tiger. The best shooters tried killing the tiger but the poor Raapaa who shot the tiger with his grandmothers payaai and kling Khuu, which is a weaving implement, not an arrow, as he cannot afford to own an arrow and bow.

Sumshot Khular and Anudon Sankhil talk to Shobhana in their garden about uses of plants growing around the garden. The leaves used for wrapping and packing food packs in the Lamkang culture called Nthil arnaa. The uses of banana leaves, base, stem and fruits and its health benefits.

Recording of the Raapa Story by Stephon Sankhil. A tiger, angry at being duped by Koreng, eats him. Koreng's sisters vow to marry whoever kills the tiger, and the only one able to do it is Raapa. Jealous, the other men conspire to kill Raapa, but he survives two attempts and tricks them so that they drown. In the end Koreng's sisters kill Raapa.

He recalls the road conditions of his childhood. He recalls an incident in which he and his father fell into the Buriyoti River. He claims that because his house was near the hills, a lot of crops were ruined due to the sand that covered their crops. Recorded in Gogamukh, Rangpuriya.

He speaks Hindi and Assamese in addition to Boro, 42 years old at the time of recording. Recorded in Gogamukh, Bathoupuri. He discusses the crop damage caused by the flood. The speaker discusses problems in the agricultural sector, the types of insects that harm crops, and various insects that the average person may be unaware of. He goes on to describe how the culture was in the past. He stated that there have been instances where maids refused to work in a household if the family does not have a son. According to the speaker, housemaids eloping with the sons of wealthy families was a common occurrence.

Dalimi Brahma Daimary is an assistant teacher with a MA in Boro who speaks Bengali, Hindi, Nepali, and Assamese in addition to Boro, 48 years old at the time of recording. This recording contains the speaker's wedding flood experience. She tells us about an incident that occurred during her wedding in 1997. To get to her husband's house, she had to use a boat to cross the Germer River. She also mentions a child who was swept into the river by a "hakhu" during the flood. She then goes on to talk about her experiences moving around and squeezing her clothes after crossing the Germer River. Recorded in Gogamukh, Rangpuriya.
