Anderson form a private corporation by the name of The West Texas Baptist Sanitarium in Abilene, in the County of Taylor and State of Texas the 26th day of February, A. D., 1923. The third page includes: "George S. Anderson as Chairman, and T. N. Carswell, as Secretary certify at a meeting of the Board of Trustees held May 19, 1936 the changed name of the corporation from WEST TEXAS BAPTIST SANITARIUM to HENDRICK MEMORIAL HOSPITAL." The articles are signed on May 9, 1936.

Announcement calling for the 16th District to meet at the Fall Convention in Odessa, Texas in order to outline the program for 1943.

Advisement by Fellbaum that the local boards should reclassify all 1-C(H)'s into 1-C that are in the armed forces without regard to age, and those registrants separated from the armed forces into 1-C"Disc" or IV-F"Disc".

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Parramore Post No. 57, American Legion, Abilene, Texas, from Basil L. Walters, Vice-President and Executive Editor, Minneapolis Star Journal and Tribune, dated December 9, 1941. Walters advises Carswell that the song lyrics of "Ballad for Americans", written by a WPA worker, is what expresses his definition of Americanism writing that the chorus asks: "And who are you?" The voice answers back: "I am America." "Our country's strong, Our country's young. And it's greatest songs are yet unsung ― Our marching song will come again."

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from Boone Powell, Jr., Administrator, Hendrick Memorial Hospital dated May 9, 1972. Powell advises Carswell of an enclosed cafeteria card which is to in a small way say "thank you" for his continuous service and acknowledges that Carswell is the only living Charter Member of the Board of Trustees.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, from C. B. Austin, Pastor, West Washington Baptist Church, Washington, D. C., dated December 9, 1941. Austin advises Carswell that he is mailing the letter regarding Americanism to Mr. Geo. B. Fraser, the new President of the D. C. Baptist Convention, to answer the question "What is Americanism?".

A letter addressed to Major T. N. Carswell, 10th Battalion, Texas Defense Guard, Inspecting Officer, Abilene, Texas, from William S. Leslie, Captain, Company A, 11th Bn., Texas Defense Guard, San Angelo, Texas, dated July 9, 1941. Leslie acknowledges the receipt of Carswell's communication and advises that the copies requested have, on each occasion, been forwarded in duplicate; one to Battalion Headquarters, one to the Adjutant General.

A letter written to Mr. Carswell from Claudia, Midland, Texas, dated November 9, 1965. Claudia acknowledges her receipt of the letter from Carswell and criticizes her own writing habits. She advises that she and her mother had been on a holiday and describes their move from Abilene to Midland and her work at Shell. She expresses her appreciation for his gift of the beautiful roses.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Chairman, Taylor County Parole Board, from E. A. Burkhart, Executive Secretary, Sacramento 14, California, dated January 9, 1953. The letter is a reply from Burkhart to Carswell advising that the application for Commutation of Sentence has been returned to the Governor's office.

A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from E. M. Collier, Administrator, Hendrick Memorial Hospital dated April 9, 1958. The letter includes a notification by Collier of a Board meeting which has been called by Mr. Anderson. Dinner will be served.

Preston acknowledges the announcement by Carswell that the Post has Abilene's hat in the ring for the 1942 Departmental Convention assuring Carswell that he is "rootin' for you all the way".
