A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Parramore Post No. 57, American Legion, Abilene, Texas, from D. L. Kirk, Assistant Editor, Spokane Daily Chronicle, dated December 23, 1941. Kirk makes reference to the letter from Carswell requesting the definition of Americanism and advises of the enclosed clipping of an editorial he wrote in answer.
