Carswell expresses his regrets at not seeing Maisel at Wellington and describes the convention events in which he participated. He advises that he has sent his committee nominations and that he will attempt a little membership campaign on his own during December assuring that the extra cost will be justified.

Copy of Comptroller's Tax Deed From William J. Swain, comptroller of public accounts of the State of Texas to J. H. Collet, agent for H. C. Hendrick. The deed states that Swain published in the Dallas Weekly Herald his intent to seize and auction the lands listed due to unpaid taxes and that the listed lands were purchased at the auction by J. H. Collet on behalf of H. C. Hendrick. There's a statement signed by Hiram Park stating that this document is a correct copy of the deed in the Deed Records of Hemphill County, Texas.

[Letters from E. N. McCoy to Blanche Perry]

Series of letters, plus envelope, mailed together from E.N. McCoy as minister of the Church of Christ in Borger, TX to Blanche Perry. First letter confirms receipt of the painting and its installation on the church baptistry wall. Second letter is addressed to the leaders at the Sherman Street Church of Christ to transmit a check for $200 to the Belgian ministry in appreciation of Perry's painting (November 15, 1950). Third enclosure is a copy of explanatory text given to the Borger congregation regarding the Perry painting. It gives brief background of Perry and short discussion of symbolism in the painting. Symbols mentioned include mountains, sky, snow, sunbeams, light, rocks, flowers, birds. All letters are on church letterhead.
