A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas from E. W. Ledbetter, Secretary-Treasurer, Hardin-Simmons University dated October 29, 1953. Notification by Ledbetter of a meeting to be held of the Board of Trustees which has been called by Mr. W. P. Wright, the first meeting with the new President of Hardin-Simmons University. He advises of a personal invitation which Carswell will receive in due time for a dinner to be given by Mr. and Mrs. Wright honoring Dr. and Mrs. Reiff.
