Gills speaks on his experiences in activism alongside Kenneth Adrian Cyr, founder of Fort Worth's first gay organization AURA and host of the first Texas Gay Conference in June, 1974. He continues on to discuss Ken and his experiences being fired from their jobs due to their sexual identities, his struggles to find a printer for his community newspaper, and the Ken A. Cyr vs T.S. Walls civil rights case.
