Presentation describing the process to create an annotated bibliography using GitHub so multiple users could access and contribute to it. The authors share some background, learning resources, problems, and how to contribute to the GitHub site.

This literature review provides an overview of outreach in academic libraries over the last five years. The review aims to centralize the common activities and general purposes of outreach while also bringing emphasis to more strategic outreach efforts such as the incorporation of learning outcomes and assessment into outreach. The review also provides commentary on how outreach can be used to affect information literacy and research.

This presentation highlights a curriculum mapping project at the University of North Texas Libraries. The project seeks to improve the capacity of UNT students for critical thinking and the ability to use information effectively. The key aim of the initiative was to strengthen core library services to enhance high-impact practices. It was presented at the Cross-Timbers Library Collaborative 2019 Conference held by Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.
