[A Matter of Time]

Photographs of the 2017-2018 artist's book competition winner "A Matter of Time" created by Samuel C. Cowan. Media: Leather, etched copper, screen print and watercolor on paper. The first image is a triangular book, the middle of it a light brown triangle with subtle lines that make it resemble an eye. Image 2, the triangular book is opened up to show several panels in an accordion-like manner, containing illustrations of a house with bare trees by it and bright blue sky. The house is the same, but the shadow on it varies. Image 3, a closeup of three of the book panels, the houses on the illustration go from big shadow to small shadow from left to right.
