Lamkang Elders singing the folk song during the first death Annivesary of late Behon Shilshi
Photograph of a Lamkang elders who are known for their singing and dancing. This photo is the Lapuu Neepuu and laapii singing during the first death anniversary late Behon Shilshi, of Deering Khuu Chandel, Manipur. An initiative to document the Lamkang traditional folk songs, tales and dances during this celebration. SIL and Lamkang Language Education Committee -LLEC were involved in the documentation process.
