Photograph of (late) Allama Nasiruddin Nasir Hunzai, A famous Hunza Burushaski poet, a religious scholar and prolific writer. He is considered to be the first ever to publish Burushaski poetry. He is also one of the few who devised Perso-Arabic based alphabets to write Burushaski. His Burushaski-Urdu Dictionary was published posthumously by the Burushaski Research Academy (BRA) - The NGO that he had founded. He is also known as "Baba-e-Burushaski" (the father of (Hunza) Burushaski).

Personal narrative on fighting with a bear
Recording of Abdullah sharing a personal account entitled “Fighting with a Bear” in the Nagar dialect of Burushaski. In this recollection, Abdullah recalls working in a great field in Kaceli with a team from France, and a bear was disturbing everyone in the area. One night the bear approached his tent, and Abdullah had to scare the bear away for a bit.
