Cocktail dress of blue silk taffeta with faint floral watered-silk print; floral brocade print. Round neckline; 24 non-working tiny buttons from center front neckline to waist. Puffed cap sleeves have four tucks into one tiny button just under shoulder. Neckline princess seams to seam around hips; front princess seams have inverted pleats at waist; seams in front and back from armhole to hips 1 1/2" apart into seams at hips. Skirt is below the knee in front; slight train in back. Center back zipper; 3" wide crinoline encased around hem; black lining. Designer's label at center back: "Oscar de la Renta"

Dress of black net covered in silver and gold sequins. Gold and black beads and rhinestones around high neckline and armholes. Center back zipper; waistline seam. Full-length skirt flares from hip. Skirt has sparsely placed sequins connected with yellow thread; 3" wide crinoline around inside of hem; 3 layers of black net attached with interior belt at waist holds out fullness of skirt. Designer's label on inside grosgrain petersham at zipper: "Oscar de la Renta" Size tag below designer's label.

Shirtwaist dress of dusty pink silk taffeta. Below knee length with shirt-style collar and center front opening with 11 black satin covered circular buttons, the opening edged with wide irregularly pleated band of self, with raw, frayed outer edge. Front waist darts angled forward from side seams; waist seam is sewn on outside and pressed upward; ends surged; widely flared skirt has 5 deep pleats at waist; hidden side seam pockets; 1/2 length sleeves with 1" buttoned cuffs with plackets and 2 pleats from cuffs upward. Hem edge exposed and surged. Unlined. Designer's label at inside back neckline: "Oscar de la Renta" Combination tag: "R 06 / 8N648 / 10 / Made in U.S.A."

Wedding dress of bias-cut, double-faced washed ivory silk satin with raw edges. Inverted pleats at midriff. Sleeveless with self-covered buttons across reverse seam on shoulders. Below-knee length (cut at reception). Center back zipper closure hidden by reverse seam and self-covered buttons matching shoulders. Unlined. Designer label: Sartel B) Cropped riding style jacket of black cotton taffeta. Long sleeves; notched lapel. Trimmed with diagonal placket and self-covered buttons at sides. Inside breast pocket is made from detailed section of suspenders left to bride by her grandfather, Stanley Marcus. Lined in black cotton: padded shoulders. Evening dress of blue silk chiffon, in classical style. Asymmetrical, with one shoulder from which fabric gathers and radiates outward to the bodice. Ballgown of gold silk duchess satin. Bodice and skirt are of gold silk. Sweetheart neck with center point and 4" straps. Center panel of bodice is ivory silk with heavy hand beading of gold, crystal, and silver sequins mixed with embroidery in white in ornate floral pattern. Center panel points into a "V" with gold gathered panels on the side and back. Skirt is knife pleated and has a slight train. CB closure with a lower back. Dress is lined in white and bronze satin in the bodice with sewn in cups for support and skirt is lined in white muslin. There is a white petersham-type belt inside. 28" waist. No label inside.

Black wool and silk coat. Notched lapel. Double breasted. Bound buttonholes with 8 large, round, black buttons center front; 2 front flap pockets. Quarter length sleeves with seam down center arm. Hip length. Black silk lining. Seam down center back. Designer's label: "Balenciaga.Paris" Other label at left inner seam removed.

Reversible coat of black velvet and white and black wool. Side 1: Black velvet and houndstooth checked black and white collar and cuffs. Center front opening with band of houndstooth closed with 3 chrome colored buckles. Slits at bottom left and right hem are closed with houndstooth covered buttons. 3/4 length sleeves with rolled cuffs. Side 2: Black and white houndstooth checked wool. Collar rolls to black velvet. Band and seam at hip. Slits at bottom left and right hem are closed with houndstooth covered buttons.

Coat of red wool tartan. Waist-length with collar. Wide quarter-length sleeves with seam down center arm; no cuffs. Double breasted; 8 rounded black plastic buttons reinforced with 2 large snaps center front; bound button holes. Seam center back; fully lined in black satin.

The Frederic Hamilton building is a 2006 extension of the Denver Art Museum located within the Civic Center Cultural Complex.

The entrance and spider sculpture are on the eastern side of the building.

The northeastern prisms soar high above the entrance.
