Photographs of the 2005-2006 artist's book competition winner "Book in a Steel Box" created by Eric Blake. A small cloth-bound volume with graphite lines throughout is welded into a steel box. The book is visible along the spine and fore-edge through steel bars. The box does not open, and the book cannot be removed, making it an "inaccessible text." Miniature book collector and publisher Darragh Hunter produced this volume as part of a workshop for the visually impaired.
