Recording of Juan Sorrentino's The Fifth Element. The sounds in this work were created using several materials: wood, metal, glass, plastic, and various violin recordings. The composer intended to explore the interactions of these sounds with one another and how it relates to the coexistence of things, materials, lives, and cultures.

Recording of Peter De Moncey Conegliano's The Mother/In praise of communism. This text in this work was taken from the libretto of The Mother by Berthold Brecht which was itself based on the novel by Maxim Gorky. The composer used rain sticks and porcelain flutes (Pacha Mama) from Mexico to create the sound material.

Recording of Philippe Moënne Loccoz's La mère, le matin etc.... This work was created as part of the Institute of Bourges on the theme: "Le Pére, La Mére". It includes sound materials from family interactions, primarily children.

Recording of Marco Dibeltulu's Improvviso. The sound material in this work comes from a sample of piano that has been played in different ways. The composer attempted to create a piece that encapsulated the feeling of responsibility held by new parents.

Recording of Jean-Michel Deliers' Qui à côté de moi aujourd'hui. The composer wrote this with the idea of "absence" or "to lack" in mind and was influenced by the writer, Samuel Beckett in which many of his works included those themes. The only sound source in this piece is the human voice.

Recording of Shinichi Morita's Utsubokazura. This work is meant to reflect traditional Japanese music and includes the sound of a Shamisen, a traditional Japanese instrument, as well as the sound of a male voice calling.

Recording of Candy Trash's Artillerie lourde. The composer wrote this piece with the idea of parenting in mind and separates the work into two parts that represent "father" and "mother" respectively. This piece showcases both the heavy weight of responsibility that falls on parents as well as the joy and support of family. The work has been segmented into 5 separate tracks.

Recording of Jean-Marc Weber's Pama. This is a work for electronics that includes samples of French spoken word and distorted voices.

Recording of Göran Lindsjö's Father, mother and four children. This work is separated into six movements in this order: father, mother, children 1 through 4. Each movement is an algorithmic composition with 45 parameters of the same type. However, each movement applies different values to these parameters to create new sounds. The composer also created the childrens' movements by applying some of the same parameters from the parents, much like DNA.

Recording of Elizabeth Mara Bossero's Anticlèa. This work was inspired by the meeting of Odysseus with his mother, Anticla, in 'Hades', book XI of the Odyssey.

Recording of Matt Riedel's A mother's tears. The composer was inspired to write this work after the passing of his mother and used her difficult upbringing as inspiration. He highlights the different emotions that can create tears and the knowledge that a tear can be both joy and anguish at the same time.

Recording of Pekka Siren and Agnieszka Waligórska's El Coronista de.... This work contains field recordings in the highlands of Spain and around the village, Sallant de Gallego. The intention of this work was to create acoustical scores from the photographs and visuals captured during these trips to Spain. This composition is for solo tape.

This composition is focused on the analysis of the electronic devices and the explorations of the man-machine relationship.
