Recording of Massimo Carlentini's Retrospective di Gioia. According to the composer, the piece of music looks from the outside and from different angles at what are flashbacks of joy. Fragments of sacred texts taken from the Bible; actions, sounds and noises made within the Church; these are the basic materials. It is divided into several sections interspersed with small "backgrounds".

Recording of Robert Normandeau's Chorus. The music is inspired by the subject of the theater play Nathan le Sage by G. E. Lessing written in 1779 which demonstrated the tolerance ideal of that century. The sound material used in the work represents the typical sonorities of the three monotheist religions: the shofar for the Judaism, the church bells for the Christianism and the call for the pray for the Islam.

Recording of Georg Katzer's Les paysages fleurissants. The sound material was derived from the motor of an (aged) truck, what somehow is a transfiguration of the divine Mercur to a modern symbol of trade and prosperity. Inspired by the words of the former German chancellor Helmut Kohl when he spoke about the soon prospering landscapes in east Germany after the fall of the wall.

Recording of Gonzalo Biffarella's Alf Tia (para flauta y soporte digital). Alf Tua is a work for transverse flute and electronics. The electroacoustic part is composed entirely of sounds that we had previously searched for and recorded together with the flutist. In the live version the instrumentalist plays along with the playback of a CD.

Recording of John Mallia's Plexus 2. This work was composed for a chamber ensemble and electronic sounds. Plexus 2 utilizes and responds to fragments of sound from Plexus, an earlier electronic work based on poetry by Dana Dalton.

Recording of Elsa Justel's Primpilipansa. This is a work for electronics and was written for the open project with the theme "The Seasons". This work is meant to represent the beauty of a butterfly.

Recording of Sten Hanson's Mon coeur galopant. After a visit to the hospital for fatigue and an irregular heart rate, the composer created this work based off of the sounds from videos of several ultrasonic heart examinations that were performed on him. The piece is meant to depict the positive and negative experience of how fragile man can be and yet still retain the strength to live. The work is dedicated to the chief physician, Inger Axelsson, and her staff at the SÖS hospital in Stockholm.

Recording of Eric Mulard's Dict-On. This work was composed as part of the open project with the theme "The Seasons". The composer describes this work as a "sound sketch" around old sayings about the weather and seasons.

Recording of Marco Dibeltulu's Coincidenze. This work was inspired by the season, Autumn, and its significance in referencing the passage of time and the end of a cycle. This work uses modified concrete sounds as well as electronic sounds.

Recording of Marc Beugnies' Herd !. This work was inspired by the concept of fire in the wintertime and uses sample fire sounds as well as excerpts from Wagner's Feuerzauber. The word "Herd" is used throughout the piece, which in German translates to "hearth" or home.

Recording of David Shepherd's Awha. This work was created as part of the open project called "The Seasons". It explores the power and ferocity of the storms that lash Wellington's south coast every winter and attempts to sonically recreate the essence of these storms.

Recording of Per Arvidsson Bremmers' Derivative Two - A Dozen Shades Of Sunlight. The composer describes this work as "considering the lightning, the fierce thunder, the angry swarms of flies or the traffic of the city".

Recording of Ketty Nez's Melting into Green. This work is a soundscape of winter melting into spring, based entirely on samples recorded in the foothills of Colorado near Denver. These sounds were manipulated in various ways to create their own music.

Recording of Lennart Westman's Oktobervarande - Existence Automnale. This work is based off of a poem by the composer that is characterized by the ambience and atmosphere of an October day at a church yard in Knivsta. This work premiered during the festival Synthse in Bourges, France.

Recording of Pierre Boeswillwald's L'Eté, j'étais.... This work was inspired by the seasons, specifically summer, in which the hottest weather typically takes place as well as vacation breaks. This work is for electronics and includes various concrete sounds, including excerpts from Vivaldi's "Summer (The Four Seasons)".

Recording of Paolo Besagno's In primo vere. This work is a short celebration of spring that the composer dedicates to their two daughters, whose voices are used as main sound material in the work. The text in the work comes from a nursery rhyme that was taught to the composer as a child and the voices of his daughters represent the true voice of spring. The composer gives thanks to Riccardo Dapelo for his friendship and collaboration.

Recording of Marie-Hélène Bernard's La mousson. This work is meant to represent a Cambodian summer, punctuated by the sounds of rain and children playing outside despite the weather.

Recording of David Behar's Belladonna. This work was composed for the ″Synthèse 2002″ festival in Bourges with the theme "The Seasons".

Recording of Larry Austin's Summer storm bellagio. This work is a soundscape and all the materials were recorded on the grounds of Villa Serelloni, overlooking Lake Como in the Italian Alps. The sounds of the storm that morning and accompanying environmental sounds were edited and processed.
