Maasai face neckpiece of multicolored seed beads trimmed in silver hanging paillettes. Headpiece is designed with central ½” wide vertical band with triangular lower(?) section and semicircular upper(?) section. Center band of two rows of beads forms headband.

Maasai tribal choker necklace. Choker is styled as a 1” wide band of alternating vertical bands of red and black wheat beads separated by spacers of white plastic simulating ivory. The bottom of the choker is trimmed with a row of yellow seed beads from which hang 1” pieces of silver chain ending with circular silver paillettes. Tie closure.

Masai necklace of three separate graduated rings. Rings are beaded in alternating vertical rows of red, white, blue, orange, white and green. Each ring closes with a handmade wire hook & eye.

Maasai tribal choker necklace. Choker is styled as a 1-1/2” beaded band in vertical rows of orange, red, green, white and black with large mother-of-pearl button at center front and two smaller buttons on the sides. The bottom of the choker is trimmed in alternating black and white wheat beads and has a scalloped edge of orange seed beads from which hang 1” pieces of silver chain ending with circular silver paillettes. Tie closure.

Maraca (chinchin) of silver metal. Sphere shaped rattle with a flat-banded circumference, a pointed top and short handle on bottom.

Little girl’s dress of light peach silk organza with satin stripe. High waist with douppioni silk bodice and narrow tie at back. Sleeveless with bows on shoulders. Center back zipper closure. Lined in ivory acetate; extra under layer of ivory acetate with ruffle net at hem. Designer's label: "Helena"

Blouse of rust-colored silk. Princess seams; collar extends to form long scarf. Long sleeves; cuffs with placket and button closure. Gathers at center front neckline. Center back seam opens at top with two buttons as closure.

Pair of Maasai earrings in open oval design of blue, white, red, and green vertical bands. Earrings are bordered in blue beads on the interior and a row of yellow and alternating blue/white rows around the exterior.

Maasai wedding necklace. Necklace is constructed as a 1-1/2” wide circular neckpiece beaded in predominantly black and blue seed beads with a trapezoidal placket hanging from the center front bottom. Three strands of seed beads, two white with a center strand of black, hang from the base of the trapezoidal placket; each strand ends in a cowrie shell. The entire necklace is bordered in alternating black and white seed beads with the interior of the circular neckpiece being lined in two rows of light blue seed beads. Necklace closes with a handmade wire hook & eye.

Maasai collar style necklace beaded in predominant shades of orange and yellow. Necklace is constructed of three circular bands of beading in uniform pattern wired together. The three bands are not connected at the center back and each separate ring closes with its own handmade wire hook & eye.

Southwestern Native American Indian half breastplate. Breastplate is formed by three vertical rows of 3” imitation hairpipe bone and brass, red, blue and light blue beads separated by leather thongs. The bottom row is formed by 2” imitation hairpipe bone and brass, red, blue and light blue beads ending in brass bells. Padded leather suede band forms neckpiece for over the neck.

Pair of Maasai ear cuff style earrings. Could be worn separately or as a pair. A) Arch of cuff is black seed beads trimmed with red and white beads and silver paillettes on short pieces of chain. Rectangular base is of white beads with green, red and black triangular designs separated by a blue plastic spacer. Three 2” strands of wheat beads, chain and silver paillettes hang from the base of the rectangular section. B) Arch of cuff is orange seed beads trimmed with black, white and red beads and silver paillettes on short pieces of chain. Rectangular base is of white beads with red, black and orange triangular designs separated by a blue plastic spacer. Three strands of wheat beads, chain and silver paillettes hang from the base of the rectangular section.
